RAILWAYS:

Railway transport is one of the important modes of transport in India. Its technology is based on the traction of a group of wagons or coaches over a fixed track, consisting of two steel rails. The traction is provided by the locomotive. The design, construction and maintenance of the track is done by Civil Engineers.
