Task 1 Read: Chapter 7 of the core learning material and supporting text chapters on Performance Measurement.

Task 2 Investigate: Either investigate the performance measurement systems in your own organisation and critically discuss the organisation's approach to performance measurement in relation to the theory you have read about. Summarise what other organisations could learn from these case studies in designing and implementing performance measurement systems.

Task 3 Write: Report

Based on your choice of investigations above, you will either report on what you have learned from your investigations into the performance measurement in a particular organisation or else you will write a report (suitable for a company thinking about introducing performance measurement) on what you have learned from your reading and from the case studies.
