Objective of Long-Term Plans for Technical Loss Reduction
The primary objectives of strengthening and improvement of sub-transmission and distribution system in the long-term are to:
1. Reliability and ensure quality of supply to the consumers;
2. Bring it down technical losses to an optimal minimum value; and
3. Phase a system expansion for match a growing power demand in the area under study.
A Sub-Transmission and Distribution system have to be properly planned within the long-term to ensure in which the losses are inside acceptable limits.
