Write a matlab function that calls eig and generates an estimate of the smallest three eigenvalues and associated eigenfunctions of the negative Laplacian operator on ?. (Hint: this will require solving a generalized eigenvalue problem with the mass matrix on the right-hand side.) Hence, use your function to generate a table of estimated eigenvalues for a set of uniform square grids using Q1 approximation.
