  • Be  flexible and think broadly about key words  and  subject headings  for example related  to  topic of anorexia nervosa  in  adolescent, you iook for anorexia, eating disorder, adolescents, nutrition, diet, bulimia, weight and body image, etc. 
  • While reviewing manual, search begins with most recent issue of index of reference  and  then proceed backward. 
  • Refer  to major relevant studies as  a means  of providing  a  context for own investigations.
