Mauritius Institute of Technology (MIT), is a well-established private tertiary education institution located in Moka. The MIT operates two faculties with around ten different courses at certificate and diploma level. It is anticipated that the institution is to start offering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels within the next two years, resulting in substantial increases with respect to the student intake.

Each faculty has its own administration monitored by the central administration, which consists of the registry, finance and inventory departments.
