In-door bank services, Business Management

Modeling and simulation mean using models, prototypes, attributes, and strategies in order to get results that help to choose the right decision. Recently, simulation becomes a major science particularly in business. By using simulation and modeling Arena software, my classmate and I will build In-door Bank Services project that analyze a bank services. Moreover, we will set the project goals, explain what tools will be used to create it, and discuss the concepts of the project in the project paper.

When customers go to a bank they may need to wait long time to get their purpose done. That might make customers to complain of waiting a long period since it waist their times. Wherefore, this project will be assisted by using a simulation firmware. Arena is used to give close results that help in take the right decision .Furthermore, it is used to for analyzing problems and determining the performance matrix which are length of the queue, utilization, throughput, and waiting time.

There are four goals for the In-Door Bank Service project. First, increase the throughput by decreasing the number of employees and increasing the number of customers. Second, to reduce the waiting time by distributing the customer based on what the customer need. Moreover, developing and improving the bank services to make it convenient and fast by placed computer which help customers to use online service beside the customer service and bankers.  Finally, the need based on employee utilization that we can decide if we need more employees or not.

There are many primary methods for implementing the goals of the project. First, the customer should go to the service machine then have to choice. Otherwise, they go to bankers or customer service. Second, If a customer wants to deposit, withdraw, pay bills payment, or get money order they should go to the bankers. Next, if a customer wants to open account, solving a problem for in his/her account, customer need to get a loan or any other services the customer should go to the customer service.

The Project will employ five staff: there are two employs who serve as customer servers and one of them also work as a manager. The customer servers role are open accounts, serve getting loans, print bank statement, and set online services. The rest are three employs who are bankers. They help customers to get money cash, money orders, withdraw and transfer inside and outside the bank.
