How many cells are in the human body?

According to "The Handy Science Answer Book" noted by the Science and Technology Department of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh (1994) there are 50 to 75 trillion cells in the human body. Though, others estimate the number to be as high as 100 trillion. (Note: there are about 100 billion nerve cells [neurons] in the human brain.)
