How do plants take in oxygen?

First cells in take carbon dioxide and does photosynthesis, which take water, sugar, and CO2 and then makes oxygen and a green pigment.

Though, plants breed just like animals and therefore use up all the O2 they produce (or almost all). They are auto-sufficient.
