We need to know what we mean via tablet in computer terminology, before going into details on the graphic tablet, since in the other disciplines, the word tablet carries various meanings. In computer science "Tablet is a particular flat surface along with a mechanism for showing positions on it, usually utilized as a locator". In fact this device is necessary when anyone wants to do free hand drawing or to trace any type of solid geometrical shape.
