a.) Dirty pages.

These are buffer pages which comprise modifications which haven't been written to disk.

b.) ETL - Extraction, Transformation, and Loading.

- It's the process of copying and cleaning data from heterogeneous sources.

- It is a vital part of development projects for data warehousing and business intelligence.
