Factors that affect the surface roughness of aluminum, Science

This study will examine surface roughness encountered in CNC milling and it will consider the factors that affect the surface roughness of aluminum and mild steel and the means by which surface roughness can be predicted.

  1. What is appropriate technique before the milling process in order to determine the best cutting conditions?
  2. Is there a difference in the cutting conditions of materials based on the type (aluminum or mild steel)?
