HENRY GANTT
The third well-known pioneer in the early days of scientific management was Henry Gantt. Gantt worked for Frederick Winslow Taylor in USA and is to be remembered for his humanizing influence on management, emphasizing the conditions that have favorable psychological effects on the worker. The following were the ideas of Gantt in the scientific management:
1. He strongly supported the ideas of scientific management ideas propounded by Taylor.
2. He emphasised the concept of mutual interests among management and workers.
3. Gantt stressed the need to appreciate that, "in all problems of management the human element is the most significant factor."
