Explain about the term ultrasonics shortly.
The world ultrasonics applies to sound waves which vibrate at a frequency higher than the frequency which can be heard through the human ear or higher than around 20,000 hz. Sound is transmitted by one place to other by means of waves. The quality of any wave can be defined by identifying two associated properties: its frequency (f) or wavelength (lambda, λ). The unit utilized to measure the frequency of any wave is hertz. One hertz is described as the passage of a single wave per second.
Mechanical energy E of particle, system or object is explained as the sum of kinetic energy K and potential energy U, i.e. E = K + U. It is a scalar quantity having dimensions [ML
