Experimentation - descriptive research designing, Management Theories

Experimentation:

Experimentation is not easy to define. It will refer to that research process in which one or more variables are manipulated under conditions that permit the collection of data that show the effects if any of such variable sin unconfused fashion. Such a definition indicated that the distinction between experimental and non experimental research may sometimes be a matter of degree rather than a matter of kind.

Under most circumstance experiments must create artificial situations so that they can obtain the particular data needed and can measure the data accurately. Experiments are artificial in the sense that situation are usually created for testing purpose.

All experiments involve three basic components:
a.The variable manipulated in experiment is referred to as the independent variable or test unit:
b.The actual treatment or alteration called the treatments.
c. The actual variable chosen to measure the subjects response are known as dependent variables
