Enabling odbc, Visual Basic Programming

Enabling ODBC:

1. Select the control panel, programs, setting and then ODBC32

2. Double click on the ODBC32

3. The Settings for an operating system will take place.

4. Select the user tab page

5. Click ADD

6. Choose the Microsoft ODBC driver for the ORACLE

7. Click finish

8. The other dialog appears

It asks for the Description, DSN, username, passwd and connect string.

9. After giving the values in Step 8, click the ok.
