Empowerment is the outcome of processes, decisions, and process that increase employees' intrinsic motivation. Empowered employees recognize their work as important, themselves as having responsibility and as being able to influence their own and other people's moments. Empowerment is a famous buzzword, but achieving true empowerment needs a huge investment in system and employee growth.
