Intelligent products have become commonplace for all consumer and industrial market. Embedded software stays in read only memory and is utilised to control products and systems for the   consumer and industrial markets. Embedded software can do very limited and esoteric functions (e.g.,  digital functions in  an  automobile like  dashboard displays, fuel  control, braking systems, etc.,).
