Disadvantages of Manual Records

  1.  More manpower is required to record/storelretrieve the data. 
  2.  Bulky paper records take up more space and this problem increases with time. 
  3.  Painfully meticulous methods are used to organize and maintain the records. 
  4.  Very tedious to extract necessary reports. 
  5.  No 100 per cent guarantee on the validity of data. 
  6.  Records can be manipulated, manual errors may remain uncorrected. 
  7.  Almost impossible for any further research and analysis.
