a) A 230 V/25V, 50 HZ transformer with a rated primary current of 1,2 Amps is used to supply a number of 25 V, 30 Watt halogen light bulbs.
Assuming an ideal transformer and that it operates within its rated values, determine the maximum number of bulbs that can be used.
b) A transformer is used to match impedances of 10 KΩ and 600Ω . Determine the turns-ratio for the transformer. Explain the differences that you would expect if the load (lamps) in question 3a had consisted of reactive loads.
