Determine the block diagram of bcd adder
To add 0110 to binary sum, we use a second 4-bit binary adder. The two decimal digits, together with input-carry, are first added in top 4-bit binary adder to generate the binary sum. When output-carry is equal to 0, nothing is added to binary sum through bottom 4-bit binary adder. The output-carry generated from bottom binary adder may be ignored, since it supplies information already available in output-carry terminal.
