What is designing level of landings in piers?


Answer

Landings are designed as resting place for passengers throughout berthing and deserting of vessels. In common, landings are provided near mean high and mean low water levels to facilitate embarking and disembarking of passenger's .so, level of landing steps have to be different from place to place as of different mean high and mean low water levels in dissimilar locations.
