Describe the features of physical survey phase

The Physical Survey (field and laboratory test) for the purpose of determination of physical and engineering properties of the materials to the extent required to evaluate the material behaviour. This phase does not limit to the determination of properties based on a few samples, but also necessitates a reliable estimate of the average values for the entire strata under consideration
