  • Small perforation: ( smaller than #20 endodontic instrument ) mechanical damage to tissue is minima with easy sealing opportunity, good prognosis
  • Large perforation: (done during post space preparation) significant tissue damage and difficult to provide adequate seal with questionable prognosis.
