Define the Working of Spring Cylinder?
One part of a cylinder is filled by one mole of a monatomic ideal gas at a pressure of 1 atm and temperature of 300 K. A massless piston splits the gas from the other section of the cylinder which is evacuated but has a spring at equilibrium extension attached to it and to the opposite wall of the cylinder.
The cylinder is thermally insulated as of the rest of the world, and the piston is fixed to the cylinder primarily and then released. Later than reaching equilibrium, the volume engaged by the gas is double the original. Abandoning the thermal capacities of the piston, cylinder, and spring, finds the temperature and pressure of the gas.
Core losses or Iron losses: These losses having of hysteresis and eddy current losses, which happen due to pulsation of flux in the core. These losses depend upon the maximum flux
Q What is photoelectric effect? Photoelectric release is the phenomena by which a good number of substances chiefly metals emit electrons under the influence of radiation such
A thermal imager is used to measure the temperature of a target surface (ε = 1) in the test section of a wind tunnel. The thermal imager must view the target though a window. The t
Explain irreversible process A process which takes the system to the non equilibrium state is known as irreversible process. *It can't be retraced in the reverse direction.
A long solenoid is fabricated by closely winding a wire of radius 0.5 mm over a cylindrical nonmagnetic frame so that the successive turns nearly touch every other. What would be t
In the circuit shown in Figure, the slider S is at the half-way point. (a) Calculate the p.d. across and the current flowing in the 400 Ω load resistor. (b) Is the circuit a
Q. Illustrate what are the characteristics of dead stars? Answer:- Dead stars are typically cold balls of material in empty space. A teaspoonful of white dwarf substance w
Define Coulombs Law Coulomb's Law: The magnitude of the electric force among two electric point charges is proportional to the product of the two charges (Q1 and Q2) separated
Core type Transformers: In this type of transformer the windings enclose the core (fig. given below). Both the windings are divided and half of every winding is placed on eac
Describe Kirchoff's Voltage Law? Ans. It describe, " the sum of the Voltage drops around a DC series circuit same to the applied voltage or source. E = E 1 + E 2 = E 3 .
