Counting in a While Loop:
Whenever it is not known ahead of the time how many values will be entered into the script, it is often essential to count the number of values which are entered. For illustration, if numbers are read into the script, and then the average of the numbers is preferred, the script should add them together, and keep the track of how many there are, in order to compute the average. The variation below on the script counts the number of numbers which the user successfully enters:
Function isreal - complex numbers: The function isreal returns 1 for logical true when there is no imaginary part of the argument, or 0 for false when the argument does have a
Illustration of Logical vectors: Calling the function appears to return similar vector as simply vec > 5, and summing the result still works to determine how many elements wer
Strings as matrix: The matrix can be generated, that consists of strings in each row. Therefore, essentially it is created as a column vector of strings, but the final result
Pie chart - plot functions: The MATLAB also has a function pie which will generate a pie chart. Calling the function with the form pie (vec) draws a pie chart, by using the pe
Give the formula for a rational function that has a hole at x=7 & vertical asmptote at x=-3/2
Plot types: Besides plot and bar, there are another plot types like stem plots, histograms, stem plots, area plots and pie charts, and also other functions which customize the
Illustrations of Variable number of output arguments: In the illustrations shown here, the user should actually know the type of the argument in order to establish how many va
Use of logical vector: Determine how many elements in the vector vec were greater than 5, the sum function can be used on the resulting vector isg: >> sum(isg) ans =
Error-Checking for Integers: As MATLAB uses the type double by default for all the values, to check to make confirm that the user has entered an integer, the program have to c
Built in recursive function in MATLAB: We have seen that the built-in function in MATLAB to compute factorials, termed as the factorial and we know how to implement the iterat
