Core Competency:

It is a specialty or fields of expertise in a given organization that exceeds or eludes its competitors and serves as the foundation for the industries to grow or diversify into new product lines. Honda, for illustration, has a core competence in building high- presentation engines.

Core Product:

The primary and essential function that a services or products gives to a customer.
