a.Discrete Distribution: Like  binomial  distribution it is  also a  discrete probability  i e,  occurrences can be  described  by a random  variable.

b.Main parameter: The main  parameter is mean (m) which  is equal to n p m= n p.

c.Form: It is a positively  skewed distribution.
