Calculate the blocking probability of three stage network, Computer Engineering

Assignment Help:

A three stage network is designed with the following parameters:

M=N=512, p = q = 16 and α = 0.65. Calculate the blocking probability of the network, if s=16. Symbols carry their usual meanings.

The blocking probability

PB = [l-[1-β)2]s

Here α = 0.65 and k = p/s = 16/16 = 1

PB = [l-[1-0.65)2]16

= [l-(0.35)2]16

= 0.123 Ans.
