Britain after 1688-The Glorious Revolution of 1688 to1689 replaced the reigning king, James II, all along with the joint monarchy of her Dutch husband, William and his protestant daughter Mary. This was the milestone of the Whig those opposed to a Catholic succession history of Britain.
