However the doctrine of stare Decisis includes an element of certainty and uniformity in the administration and management of justice.  Further in Dodhia V National and Grind lays Bank the Court of Appeal for the East Africa expressed the view that the administration and management of justice requires an element of certainty and uniformity that would not be possible whether judges were free to make decisions without regard to earlier decisions.
