Write a story about yourself

This assignment requires that you tell me a story about yourself. A story where you were persuaded to do, say, or think a certain way. Try to focus on the "persuasion" used. How did someone persuade you to agree? Or disagree?

A few examples of this would be:

A mother persuading her child to eat a new food

A father persuading his son to chose the same career (Dad is an engineer, son becomes an engineer)

A friend persuading you to do something, you would not normally do. You persuading someone else to do something, they would not normally do.

A teacher persuading you to read your essay in front of the class, high school, or community.

A friend persuading you to spend more money on something you did not need

A company persuading you to buy something

Someone "guilting" you into doing something (coming home for Christmas, cleaning your room).
