Critique Culture, Leadership, and Decision-making and the Movies? Actions for 'Week 5: Critique Culture, Leadership, and Decision-making and the Movies'

In our fast moving virtual world, movies often reflect contemporary issues that represent what is vogue in our society.
Select and watch a movie of your choice that has ethical content for your critique. See a list of sample Ethics Movies in the Books and Resources area of this week. While the movie may be entertaining, the producers may have not intentionally set out to make a particular moral issue the focus of the film. As you watch the movie, think about the messages that it contains about ethical behavior, business, culture, and society.
Prepare an analysis in which you address the following:
Write a short overview of the subject matter of the movie including the relevant ethical issues that are portrayed.
Research the movie and determine whether the writers/producers intentionally set out to identify and address the identified ethical issues.
Indicate whether the movie attempt to raise awareness or motivate conversation about the ethical issues to perhaps inspire change in the culture.
Indicate whether the antagonist and protagonist in the movie in leadership roles. Do they develop as leaders as they engage in the decision-making process regarding the ethical issues?.
Indicate whether the movie have an effect on culture as a result of increased publicity and conversations that developed as a result of the movie's perspectives.
Provide a critique that includes your personal perspective on culture, leadership, and decision-making and how it can be shaped by the entertainment industry and the media.
Support your paper with minimum of three (3) scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.
Length: 5-7 pages not including title and reference pages
Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards. Be sure to adhere to Northcentral University's Academic Integrity Policy.
