It's great to be able to gather data for the purpose of research. We have many methods of doing so. Once we receive the data, it needs to be analyzed and interpreted. When we display the data, there are a number of different conventions to do so. Displayed in one fashion, we can extract information allowing us to generalize, predict, or somehow relate it to the population. If another method to display the same information is used, we may glean new insights. We mentioned in class that we gain different perspectives from data displayed vis different methods.
Compare and contrast any group of data (real or fictitious) utilizing two different display methods. Explain the pros and cons of utilizing the two different methods.
