Discussion - Heathy Weight: It's Not a Diet, It's a Lifestyle!
There are so many diet trends out on the market today from eating well for 21 days to 90 days of building muscle/toning up and even medications that help you lose weight. For most people these are just diets and exercise programs to get the results people want and fast also known as quick fixes. People don't really eat like this for the rest of their lives nor do they exercise like this either. They only do it until they get the results they want and then quit. Eventually all the pounds come back and the muscle turns to fat. Why do you think this is? What is it that people need to be doing on a regular basis to stay healthy, to look and feel good about themselves and why is it so hard for people to be healthy in today's society?
Please take some time and think about your answers to these questions and in your own words please share with the class why you think it is that people need the quick fixes? Why once they get the results they are seeking they stop what they are doing? What is it that people need to be doing to stay healthy, looking and feeling good about themselves as well as why it's so hard for people to be healthy in today's society?
