Rules also include compensation and benefits policies and procedures. A comparison of the alternative rules for making rules is the question of workplace governance. It is essential to determine the nature of the balance that is struck among efficiency, equity, and voice. It is called workplace governance because of the focus on how workplace rules are determined.
