It has been said that when the (HAARP) High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program is in use it punches a hole in the atmosphere helping to cause global warming.

If that is the cause then what stops the solar wind and radiation from entering the earths atmosphere? (150 words) Why are the northern lights brighter after a solar flare? and what makes them different colors?
