A 25 year old female patient has made an appointment to see the provider that you work for. When rooming the patient she states that she has been experiencing low back pain and has had a fever for 3 days. She thinks she may have a UTI.
What types of questions would you ask this patient? Why is it important to ask these questions? What standing order might the provider have in place for this type of complaint?
