Motivation in the Workplace
The hiring process is very crucial and could lead to the termination of any employee, if not followed properly. The termination of Kathy Milsom became a controversial topic. It surrounded the procurement of a contract. Ultimately the board of Toronto Community Housing Company (TO-IC) fired their CEO, effective immediately.
TCHC is a big name, but they have had four CEO's over the past eight years. This number indicates high turnover and a weak organizational culture.
To cover up, the Chairperson Marshman is acting as CEO and agreed to overtake the position for a certain period.
