Lessons learned are not only valuable in the business world; they can be useful on any project in which one is involved - at home or in your charitable effort or in your very own leisure activities. Lessons can have all the effect on future activities and assist them in succeeding, yet in the first place, they must be noted down accurately
Customarily, everybody concentrates on the errors that were made, and, while that is vital, the project team needs to perceive what worked and verify that those procedures and systems can be repeated in future projects.

The best way to learn and improve upon is to make a ‘lesson-learned’ database that can be used and read again and again by the project team to improve upon. Making database involve the following steps:-
1) Recording the learned lessoned(Darter, 2014)
Record both the issue and the solution and additionally vital venture properties in a single database. This makes it easy to recognize repeating issues, to redesign the information and to keep up the exactness and significance of the information.
2) Categorization(Abudi, 2010)
Ensure that the information are gathered and searchable by key qualities, for example, project name, sort, size, business territory, useful range or whatever other properties that have importance for your association.
