ASSIGNMENT REMIT
Statistics indicate that the financial services sector in the UK is currently undergoing sweeping changes in function and form. In fact, the changes affecting the financial-services business today are so profound that many industry analysts refer to these trends as a revolution that may well leave the sector almost unrecognisable in the next 20 years.
You are required to produce a report which explains: (i) how the UK financial-services markets have changed in recent years, (ii) what powerful forces are reshaping the financial services markets and institutions today, (iii) where the financial services sector may be headed in the future and (iv) the policies which the regulators could implement to manage the impact of the forces which you identified in your response to the previous questions.
