You are travelling on a two-lane highway 30 m behind a slow truck. You and the truck are initially moving at 20 m/s/ you reach a passing zone and at t=0 start to pass the truck with constant acceleration.

1) How much time does the pass take?

2) What is your speed when you complete your pass?

3) The next no-passing zone is 280 m in front of you when you start to pass; what should your acceleration be if you want to be 30 m in front of the truck when you reach the no-passing zone?
