A laser is shown through a double slit onto a screen which is located 8.10m away. The first 14 orders of the double slit pattern are easily seen, but the 15th order maximum is missing (very dim). The center of the missing 15th order is measured to be located at 7.10cm from the central maximum. It is known that the slit widths are each 6.00x10-2mm .

1) What is the wavelength of the laser light being used?

2) What is the distance between the slits?
