Your task in physics laboratory is tomake a microscope from two lenses. One lens has a focal length of 2.4 cm, the other1.2 cm. You plan touse the more powerful lens as the objective, and you want the eyepiece to be 17 cm from the objective. I calculated the distance from the sample to the objective lens tobe 1.3 cm which is correct. What is the magnification of your microscope?
