A jeep is stuck in the mud. A rope is tied around a nearby tree in the direction of position vector r1. A maximum force of 1000 lbs. can be generated by the cable winch connected to the front bumper of the jeep. A force of 750 lbs. in the direction of position vector r2 is sufficient to pull the jeep out of the mud.

What is the largest force that the winch can generate in the direction that matters most?
