Methan at a rate of 1 kg-mol/sec is to be compressed adiabatically from 3000 kPa and 30 deg C to 5000 kPa. Assuming h/R=s/R=4.4 and is not a function of temperature: A) What is the final temperature if it is compressed isentropically and is assumed an ideal gas? B) What is the isentropic work required for the ideal gas case? C) If the comppressor has an efficiency of 0.78 and is NON-ideal, what is the final temp and required work?
