Reflective Statement
What does it mean for you to be a leader that acts in line with your values? Please write a statement about the type of ethical public service leader you aspire to be-this is your personal code of ethics. Refer to at least two of the ethics articles assigned this week. Your Personal Code of Conduct is essentially a contract with yourself-something you can read going forward to make sure you continue acting in line with your espoused values.
Based on the course video, what can steer you away from value-behavior correspondence? What strategies will you put into place in order to integrate your deepest values as much as possible into the actions you choose on a daily basis?
Ethics Articles (Read any two of your choice):
Feldheim, M. A., & Johnson, G. (2004). Normative education: Putting the public servant in public service. Global Virtue Ethics Review, 5(3), 7-29.
