A search ensues, and the officers find inmate Grady down the street from the camp asleep under a tree. Inmate Grady argues that he got drunk and lost and could not find his way back to the dormitory.

15 Negros from Carolina conducted a march to Carolina State House protesting the segregation policies in their state in 1962. The march was very orderly and peaceful and they did not disturb the public or vehicle traffic.
