Ethical considerations are at the core of an effective evaluation. Planning through all phases of an evaluation must pay attention to ethical questions and procedures. Ethical lapses can lead to poor information and can undermine the entire evaluation.

One of the major concerns for a program evaluator is the role ethics plays in program evaluations. Ethical considerations can be and are very broad and far-reaching. They can and do include everything from the management of evaluation participants to the presentation of evaluation findings. In essence, politics can affect the assessment and evaluation of a program. What are the three political ethical concerns for an evaluator?
