Company A is based in the USA and has a subsidiary, Company B, that operates in the small island nation of Domino. Company B enters into a joint venture with a business based in Domino call Company C. The nation of Domino allows children older than 9 to work in factories, and the joint venture hires children to work in its factory in order to remain competitive. While Domino supposed has occupational and health laws, inspectors usually look the other way if they are given "gifts." The joint venture, in order to remain competitive, gives its inspectors "gifts" as well. An explosion occurs in the Domino factory and several children aged 10 are killed. Who has legal responsibility here? What about moral responsibility?
